What is Check-In / Check-Out time?

Check-In starts at 2 p.m. (14:00 o’clock.)
Check-Out is until 12 noon (12:00 o’clock.)

Can I check-in early?

Yes, early check-in can be arranged from 6 a.m. till 2 p.m. for the arrival date on the reservation, we can arrange it free of charge but it’s based on availability. If you need you room guaranteed for early check-in, please reserve and extra night.

Can I check-out late?

Yes, late check-out can be arranged free of charge, but’s it subject to availability.
Late check-out is considered up-to 6 p.m. the date of check-out on the reservation.

What is the maximum occupancy in the rooms?

We have listed in detail the Bed(s) size and maximum occupancy under each room type. Please check the specification of the room you are about to reserve for maximum number of people. Only registered (checked-in) guests can stay in the room.
Note: for your comfort we do not alter the occupancy stated for each room.

Do you allow smoking in the rooms or at the property?

Hotel Magic Castle is entirely non-smoking.

Do you have wireless internet?

Yes, throughout the entire property. Wi-Fi is free for all guests of the hotel.

What time is breakfast?

On weekdays, continental breakfast is served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. and on Saturday & Sunday from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. If you have to catch an early flight, we can prepare you a breakfast to go. Please arrange with reception the evening prior to departure.

I have a special diet, can you modify the breakfast that you serve?

Yes, just let us know your dietary requirements at time of reservation, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Do you have room service?

Yes, from 7 a.m. till 11 p.m.

Do you have a restaurant?

Yes, our restaurant is open for dinner from 6 p.m. till 11:30 p.m.

Do you have daily maid service and what does it include?

We offer full daily maid service from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. it includes:
- Refreshing towels
- Bed making (linen change if needed)
- Replacing toiletries and room accessories
- Refill on complimentary mineral water, coffee & tea
- Dusting, vacuum and bathroom cleaning

Do you have spa or pool do you offer massage?

We offer in-room massage services from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., from professional therapists (check with the hotel for specific types of massage). We do not have spa or pool, but we can refer you to one close by our hotel.

Reservations

What is your cancelation policy?

If you need to cancel a room reservation, please do so by 6 p.m. the day before the check-in date (basically a 24 hour cancelation policy)

I booked a room from Booking.com and I need to change my reservation, how should I do this?

In this case you will have to make the changes with Booking.com.

Do you charge a deposit or do you take money from my credit card when I make a reservation?

No, we only collect credit card info for reservation purpose. We do not charge credit cards in advance. You will be presented your bill (folio) at check-in, and be invited to pay at that time.

What type of payment is accepted to pay for my accommodation?

We accept: Cash in Bulgarian Levs (BGN) Euros (EUR), US Dollars and British Sterlings. We also accept VISA or MASTER card.

What is the minimum age requirement to check in to the hotel?

The minimum age requirement to check into the room is 18 years old.

What type of ID I need to check-in?

Any type of valid picture ID is acceptable (Passport, Personal ID or Driver’s license.)

Do kids stay free?

Children under age 14 stay free in a room with the paying adult.

Do your rooms allow extra beds (foldable bed, cribs or cots)?

Some of our rooms can accommodate cribs/cots or rollaway beds. There is no extra charge, but you should specify the extra bed/crib you need at the time of reservation.

Transportation

How do I get to your hotel from the Airport?

By METRO/SUBWAY
From Terminal 2 at Sofia Airport, you can take the metro/subway to our Hotel. You can download a map with directions and train timetable.

With TAXI
When you arrive at Sofia Airport terminal, please go to the “OK Taxi” counter located near the Exit doors of the Arrivals hall and order a taxi.

Taxi cost to our hotel should be approx. 14 to 18 BGN (7 or 8 EUR) depending on the traffic.

Tariffs of OK Taxi run as follows:

- Initial charge BGN 0.70

- Day rate BGN 0.79 /km

- Night rate BGN 0.90 /km

- Wait rate BGN 0.22 /min

- Call-out charge BGN 0.70



NOTE: Do not go outside the terminal and stop a taxi, there are a lot of scam companies that look like “OK taxi”, but will charge outrageous price to the unsuspecting tourist or visitor. The safest way is to order a proper Taxi from the counter.

Do you offer complimentary shuttle service?

Although complimentary shuttle is not available, our staff can assist you with a variety of options by third parties. Or you can order a shuttle on our website's booking form. Shuttle services run at 15€ for up to 4 people.

Do you have parking directly at the hotel, and how much does it cost?

We have underground parking accessible by car lift. Guest cars are valet parked by our staff and it is a 5€ per day charge.

How do I get to the center of Sofia, to see important landmarks, is it close to the hotel?

Our hotel is 2.5 km (2 Metro/Subway stops) from the ideal center of Sofia.
The main historical landmark of Sofia are located in the center of the city. If you like you can check out the free organized tour of Sofia www.freesofiatour.com (the tour is every day / twice a day 11am & 6pm.)

Hotel Magic Castle has a zero tolerance policy towards admitting or providing services or accomodations to a person who acts in an obviously intoxicated or disorderly manner.

We reserve the right to deny service.
